1The service
TruckCrave ELD is provided by U S CityLink Corporation ("we", "us"). The service includes the driver app, the vehicle unit, the carrier portal, and related support. By using the service, the motor carrier and each driver agree to these terms.
2Accounts
The motor carrier creates and manages driver accounts. Each driver must use only their own account and keep their password confidential. The carrier is responsible for keeping driver and vehicle information accurate and for disabling accounts of drivers who leave.
3Compliance responsibility
TruckCrave ELD records hours of service as required by the federal ELD rule. Drivers remain responsible for the accuracy of their duty status, and motor carriers remain responsible for compliance with the hours-of-service regulations, including the malfunction procedures in 49 CFR 395.34 and record retention in 49 CFR 395.8.
4Acceptable use
- Do not operate the app while driving except as the app permits.
- Do not falsify records, sign in as another driver, or interfere with the vehicle unit's connection to the engine.
- Do not attempt to access other carriers' data or reverse engineer the service.
5Hardware
Vehicle units must be installed and used according to the user manual. Report faulty units to support. Replacement terms are set out in the carrier's order or subscription agreement.
6Data
The motor carrier owns the records of duty status created for its drivers and vehicles. We process this data to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy.
7Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for fines, penalties, or out-of-service orders resulting from inaccurate driver entries, misuse of the service, or failure to follow the malfunction procedures. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
8Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated to carrier account administrators before they take effect.
